If anyone has this problem, post about it below so it becomes a known issue for the devs to fix. hopefully that info gave some sort of idea of what ubi did to the game also i have reached to the devs but they have not responded to me due to their team getting a lot of emails and calls to fix things. hopefully you get a good response from the devs that can help us all. and there have been rumours that it has affected a small amount of the console players aswell. i have read into the problem and a lot of people are saying that ubi messed up when they released a patch for far cry 4,5 and new dawn and it has affected a lot players. mate i am so glad im not the only one with this problem i have been trying to replay far cry 4 for weeks now but no luck so far. Then the logo closes and my game doesn't open. Steam and Uplay say launching game then I get the Far Cry 4 logo with the black background. I think it has something to do with uplay. Reinstalling Microsoft Visual Studio C packs. Disabling non windows services and startup items. Running steam, uplay, and FC4 as administrators in different orders. Steam and Uplay say launching game then I get the desktop Far Cry 4 logo with the black background. FC4 wont open, other people also have this problem with FC4 and FC5.
